I wouldn't say any of those examples are "old movies", but I do like Citizen Kane quite a bit. It's definitely one of my favorites.
A process cannot be understood by stopping it. Understanding must move with the flow of the process, must join it and flow with it.

The only person who can sympathize with and understand you, is you. So, be good to yourself.

When you say old movies, do you mean those made in the 40s, 50s or 60s? I grew up watching Singin' in the Rain, the Sound of Music, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Frank Sinatra movies, Star Wars, Indiana Jones and any movie with Katherine Hepburn and John Wayne. Love movies made during that period.

I agree with many of the comments that the term “old” can be subjective when talking about movies. Growing up as kid in the 90’s, I used to watch old movies with my aunt which included the non-animated Disney classics like The Shaggy Dog, The Parent Trap, and Old Yeller. The Ten Commandments with Charlton Heston and Shirley Temple movies were some of our favorites as well. Now, as an adult in my mid-30’s, some of my favorite movies belong to an intergenerational, genre-crossing selection of “old” films like Gone With the Wind, The Godfather, The Color Purple, Poetic Justice, Coming to America, Jerry Maguire, and the collection of Sidney Poitier films just to name a few.

Old movies like Rush hour, Indiana Jones and Commando always warms my heart. Age doesn't matter when it comes to good movies.

Deep inside, I get so emotional of some old movies, I think of people never coming back anymore

Recently watched Top Gun with a very young Tom Cruise starring in it. That's old to me but maybe not so for others. The movie was great and the characters were really good.

Though the settings can be boring, I still love old movies like Rambo, chuck norris and Jackie cHan.
