My favorites are John Mulaney and Iliza Shlesinger. Both have specials on Netflix and are definitely worth checking out.

I love Trevor Noah. I think he is really funny but at the same time so relatable and bold.

Bo Burnham is the one who impresses me the most with the depth of his wordplay and the seriousness of the themes he analyzes in a comedic, yet thoughtful way. But I can't listen to him all the time; some days, he just drains the life out of me.

Brian Regan, on the other hand, is just a good old-fashioned stand-up comic. You understand everything the first time around, but it's just as funny every other time you hear it. Much of it is my family's own daily thoughts except spoken aloud by someone with actual talent. I grew up on him.

It feels sacrilegious to not say Brian's my favorite, but I have to admit, John Mulaney may have inched ahead of him. I like him for many of the same reasons, but something about him just speaks to me.

Although I would not describe him as my "favorite", I find Trevor Noah to be funny and I enjoy his show on youtube. It is one of the few shows of that kind I would ever pay to see.

I don't know many stand up comedians but I love love love Debrah Frances-White. She's a stand up comedian and podcast show host. She's incredibly funny and amazing at addressing problems in the world in a funny way.

I'm really a huge fan of Russel Howard, his intelligence shows in his humor and he is uncharacteristically optimistic for an English comedian

I don't have a favorite comedian! I just want to enjoy the show, laugh till my stomach hurts. That's all I am after!
