As a mom, I really do not like the live actor movies. I believe they portray adults as idiots and kids as intelligent and extremely disrespectful. That is not how I want my children to act, so we avoid those movies. But the cartoons are still on the table.

I do not really love Disney movies because many of them have twisted origins. You can not believe how twisted they are.Kaitlyn Canedy wrote: ↑19 Sep 2019, 18:53 For me, I absolutely LOVE Disney movies! Some of the new remakes are okay, but I feel that some of them should never have existed. I am a fan of old and animated Disney movies.
My favorite old-time movie is Beauty and the Beast. I love how Belle was able to see through the obvious faults in the Beast and love him regardless. I feel that true love works exactly like this in real-life relationships. If you can't accept and work through the faults in your significant other, then there is no true love in that relationship.
Aladdin is my favorite live-action Disney remake. I was worried that Will Smith would destroy Robin William's charm in the remake, but I feel that he added onto Robin's character! Will Smith himself even posted on social media that he had large shoes to fill and that he wanted to make Robin proud. I can say that Will did an excellent job making Robin proud and the music that he sang in Aladdin was catchy!

Oh my gosh, I know! I recall something about Peter Pan and Cinderella mentioning murder in the original stories. I think Disney wanted to make them less horrifying for kids, if I had to take a guess.

There are a whole lot of new animations that are great like Frozen, but I feel the older ones will always hold my heart! I will never be too old for Disney

For sure! I grew up watching most of the Disney Classics, such as Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin etc. They taught me morals and shaped the way I viewed society for the better part of my life. I think Disney is still nailing it with new releases like Frozen and Encanto and I'm really happy for those whose childhood these movies will become part of.Kaitlyn Canedy wrote: ↑19 Sep 2019, 18:53 For me, I absolutely LOVE Disney movies!
