The movie "All the Bright Places" on Netflix is based on a book and I had no clue. I was just walking through the library one day and saw the book.

Has to be 'Merlin' I watched the movie first but I was shocked when I saw the novel. I was like which was first the movie of the book. Well, I didn't get to read the book so I can't even tell the one that's more detailed.
Although, Merlin has been one of my favorite series of all time.

Monte Carlo! I love the movie, I've seen it multiple times and it's a certified comfort film for me but I recently found out that it was a book! I'm planning on buying it so I can compare and I'm pretty excited. :D

movie that I didn't initially know was based on a book is "The Hangover" (2009). The film is a comedy about a bachelor party gone wrong in Las Vegas, and I was shocked to discover that it was actually inspired by a real-life event that took place in 2001.

the movie called matilda I didn't know it was a book by Roald dahl. Adapted from Roald Dahl's book, Matilda is a delight for the whole family. The story is equally enjoyable for children and for adult audiences.

Goodfellas. I have just watched " Being Made " ( the making of documentary ) and its inspired me to buy the book. Knowing the writer had a heavy hand in the movie script and knowing how much I adore the movie, is getting me excited for its arrival!
