That being said, I think books are superior in storytelling. If you are looking for amusement park thrills, movies are the way to go.

In my perspective, I find movies' use of camera angles and shots to be rather effective - giving more suspense and setting the scenes better, however books on the other hand provide deeper meaning and complexity into the character by letting us know their inner thoughts.
Would like to hear your thoughts!
