Offer a visual representation of the scene. There is so much that can be left unsaid in a movie and up to interpretation, simply by use of camera angles or the actor's facial expressions. In my perspective, I find movies' use of camera angles and shots to be rather effective - giving more suspense and setting the scenes better, however books on the other hand provide deeper meaning and complexity into the character by letting us know their inner thoughts.
