What is your favorite quote or take from this thriller and inspiring movie?

“Why think separately of this life than the next, when one is born from the last? Time is always too short for those who need it, but for those who love, it lasts forever.”

I was bummed because Vlad had to do mostly everything. Not that no one else did anything at all, but essentially, that was why "they" won the battle, so-to-speak. One would think that the townspeople would have been grateful, but of course, they weren't. Also, if you have to "be in anyone's pocket", he might be considered an easy target, perhaps unlike the character "Bricktop" from the movie "Snatch". A bit ironic to call a guy who impales people on spikes an easy target or a sucker, but as both are portrayed in the films, most would probably rather owe Vlad the Impaler than Bricktop. I don't know if I would call it the best vampire movie ever but it was very interesting. I wonder if there is any truth to an agreement with the Turks and why? And, in a way his wife was kind of a bitch. She basically told him that the only reason that she was with him was because he promised to not allow her children to be enslaved or maybe she was just being honest. That is practical, but did she do anything to try to ensure that it wouldn't happen? I also wondered whether or not she was the vampires daughter.

I think it was mediocre. The CGI and action were good, and some of the characters were okay, with some good moments, but everything else is just disappointing.
