I think by now it is well established that every bad thing has something good to it...
So what was the best thing you liked about the worst book you read or a bad movie you watched?

What an interesting topic! I recently read a really heavy religious book. Although I didn’t enjoy all of the content, I walked away with a bit of a different perspective. If nothing else, it created an understanding from a different viewpoint.

If a book can challenge you to learn something, I think it is time well spent!

red white and royal blue is my worst read but it did manage to make my heart drop (in fear and shock) at certain scenes.

Religious books have never been my cup of tea. Although I've read several books that have left me feeling hopeless, I've always found words of inspiration and encouragement in the prior books I read. This is the best thing I could have shared with you, in my opinion.

It taught me what I don't like

It was last month I read the worst book in my life, and from that learned how to annoy readers in only a few first pages of the book. It was just offensive to me.

The bad book taught me that writing is a difficult process that you may think you know but the outcome is not a piece of cake to everyone. Everyone has their likes and dislikes.

One of my worst reads was in a prequel to a franchise I loved. The book was written by a different author snd had a completely different tone. The franchise was a space action tone but this book had no action and the characters were boring. I felt completely tricked to have picked it up. I learned that the type of story or tone promised is very important to a reader and it can be very disappointing if not delivered on.

Oddly enough, I haven't read a book I didn't enjoy, I've seen a lot of terrible movies though. The best part about seeing a terrible movie is that it makes the good ones worth watching.
