I can't remember my 1st actual movie, but I do remember my 1st 'horror' movies. Not even completely sure anymore if they actually fell under horror haha

Deep Blue Sea - I absolutely loved this movie and still do!

Gremlins - for some reason this movie haunted me for a very long time!

Caroline was just downright wrong!

I am aware that I went to the cinema when I was about 5 to watch Snow White and The Little Mermaid, but the first one I definitely remember watching was when I was 8 and it was My Girl. It was a very emotional film for me as my Nan had recently died and her death had hit me hard, we were very close. The scene where Veda sees Thomas J in the coffin and says that he can't see without his glasses had me in bits. I watch it every now and then and I cry every time.

The first movie I remember watching was Lion King. My uncle took us to the cinema. Can't remember how old I was though.

For me, it would have to be The Proposal. I snuck into the room when my mom was watching it, hiding behind the couch for the second half.

Consequently, Ryan Reynolds was my first celebrity crush.

Tamara Abdellatif wrote: 28 Nov 2021, 06:36 Hello everyone!

I'm very curious about people's very first movie they remember watching, because my kid is almost old enough to watch a whole movie now, and I'm nervous about choosing..

So What was the first movie YOU'VE ever seen?
What age were you?
Tell me about your experience, did you like it? how was it? .. etc

Thanks in advance! :tiphat:
I think it was a Wallace and Gromit movie, if I'm not wrong. I used to love those movies as a kid, and after googling the movie titles, it brought back so much nostalgia. The most memorable movie for me was 'A Matter of Loaf and Death' because it was highly entertaining and I remember being extremely frustrated with Wallace for being so blinded by love. Piella was an excellent villain though and now I want to rewatch the movie.

This is a tricky question but I recall that the first movie I watched was Dream Girls. I'm sure I was others before it but It is the first movie I can remember watching.

I'm not sure if that was the first dvd our dad bought us or Alladin, but it's definitely a great first film :D

So sorry for your loss. It is amazing how movies connect different people to different things, and those memories are stuck forever.

I think it was my mom's first movie as well! A good romance is a good first film! :)

 that's a good movie! We just recently re-watched it, not as good as I remember watching the first time though.
