The Sandman

Have you read The Sandman book series and watched the show on Netflix? I only watched the show but I've heard great things about the series and its adaptation on it. Any thoughts?

To be honest, I didn't. I'll go watch it and then get back to you.

I haven't watched or read the series but I have read interesting reviews and seen clips of it. I've added it to my must watch list.

I have only recently started the series on Netflix and I haven't read the books yet. The series is compelling, but I am not 100% sure how I feel about it yet.

I watched the show on Netflix and it was brilliant. I had no idea that Sandman was a book series. I will have to read it now. It will be very interesting to see how it compares to what has been brought to the screen.

I have read and watched it, I have to say it is one of the best adaptations I have seen in a while.

I haven't read the book or watched the movies. However, I loved it when the sandman appeared in the spiderman movies. That trilogy is one of the best ever.

To be honest, the show on Netflix starts off difficult to understand but was captivating. I believe the season 2 will deliver more.

I have watched the movie on Netflix but I didn't find it because along the line the story started getting boring so I had to stop watching

The movie is good, but the TV show is not so good. The CGI was good, and some of the characters were okay, but everything else is just absolutely terrible.

I watched the TV series; it had a rocky start, but I liked it by the end. Netflix announced there will be a second season, so I'm excited to see where the story goes. I've never read the books.

I have read the books and watched the TV series, and I can honestly say the Netflix series does a really good job in adaptation. I was afraid it will ruin the one of my most favourite graphic novels, I love The Sandman series to death, pun intended. But the show is actually really good, and does justice to the comics. There are a couple of things here and there that the books did better, but overall, for anyone who has or has not read the books, this is a brilliant series to watch. As a fan, it is a satisfying adaptation, and as a beginner it will make you obsessed with it.
