I think a movie is a more mainstream interpretation of the subjects being discussed in books. Movies don't narrate they portray, pictures beautifies the eyes, but it's a momentary act, whereas books delineated every single bit of detail and make you actually fall in love with the characters. I feel like the bond between a reader and book is much stronger and more sentimental that that between a movie and a watching audience.
