What's the most underrated book you wish it'd be made into a movie?

I recently finished 'Fight Story' by Vamsidhar Chaturvedula. It was recently published by a frist time author so it may not be well knonw yet, but I think this story would make for a very entertaining movie.

Adrift. You may not know this but it was authored by Charlie Sheldon. I would not say it is underated because it's rating is quite high, but I would definitely like to see it made into a movie.

1984 is another one. I have forgotten the name of the author. I would definitely like to see a movie about the story it told.

A Face Like Glass by Frances Hardinge. It's not as popular as some of her other books like Lie Tree, but like the others, contains a wealth of creativity. I would love to see the portrayal of the Facesmiths and the Cheese caverns on the big screen. It is such a joy to read and I feel like more people should definitely be exposed to such art, especially visually.

An underrated book into a movie is the vampire diary series. I enjoyed the series a lot. I even watched the spin off series.

I think it should be Gary Robinson's the Sword Swallower and the Chico Kid.
