after books/movies

Post by Yasmyna Feraru »

so i read all the after saga right after it came out and fell in love with it. it is one of the reasons i got into reading in the first place. then they decided to make the movie adaption, and let me tell you, it has downgraded a lot. i know it is firmly established that 99% of times books are way better than movies, but i still remained a little disappointed. what do you think?

Books are always better than the movies. I have never met a person who believes the opposite.

Well, technically true books are always better than movies. And hey, I did not know there was a book on after saga. I will try to read it.

I always prefer the movies to the books. The movies are always a brief summary of the books. Books take days to read while movies take hours.

One advantage books have over movies is that it makes you feel more of the character emotions and show the whole build of the plot and character development.

My opinion is that I think I'm fine with both. It's hard for me to decide what's best with things like this sometimes, and I guess I just don't mind.

I've never seen a film adaptation as good as the book. At this point, I don't believe it's even possible. So, whenever you see a book being adapted into a film, just expect it to be not as good.

The "After" series was an interesting romantic drama, but it felt a bit clichéd and lacked the depth that I usually look for in stories.

I haven't read the book itself, but yeah books are usually better in some cases not all cases.
