"Reply 1988" is my all-time favorite Korean drama, and I've seen more than 200 of them! I've actually rewatched it more than 15 times, even though it has 20 episodes that are over 1.5 hours each. The show was incredibly relatable and covered so many different aspects of life and relationships. It's set in the 1980s and follows a group of friends and their families in a close-knit neighborhood. The characters are developed really well, and they feel like real people with their own growth and relatable stories. The drama tells heartfelt and warm stories, with moments of humor and nostalgia that make you feel connected to the characters. It explores themes of love, loyalty, and the ups and downs of life. If you're looking for a heartwarming and nostalgic drama that will leave a lasting impression, "Reply 1988" is a must-watch. Personally, my favorite character is Jung Hwan, followed by Deok Sun.

Kingdom is a pretty cool zombie show if you want something different. It manages to separate itself distinctively from its counterparts like The Walking Dead in just about every way, like the zombie mythology, time period and place, tone, and so on. Whether or not you like other zombie stories, this one could still appeal to you.

I have watched so many and, quite frankly, like so many of them. But my all-time favourite has to be Reply 1988. I can't get over that show.

My favourite korean drama is also the first korean drama I started with. It's Mr.Queen. The acting by the female lead was amazing. It was funny, it was a fantastic drama in my opinion.
Our Beloved Summer is right there with it.
Other Favourites include
Hospital Playlist

I have a lot of favorites!! Mainly:
The Fiery Priest (A comedic/action drama which has its serious moments)
Hellbound (A horror apocalyptic drama)
Kingdom (A historical zombie drama)
Strong Woman (A light hearted rom-com)
The Glory (A suspenseful drama about revenge)
Inspector Koo (this one should be more serious because the villain is a serial killer but it still feels pretty light hearted at times)
Beyond Evil (this is one of my absolute favorites. it's a crime drama where a young detective investigates a twenty year old crime along with his senior detective who was the main accused of the case before he was acquitted)

That’s difficult to answer. I have too many favorites. W-two worlds, the cunning single lady, the innocent defendant, and so many others. I think specifying a particular genre would be great, as I have a list of favorites in every genre.

I'm surprised that we're discussing K-drama here. But I love it.

It's hard to name just one favorite. But "Reply 1988" is one very close to my heart. The drama takes me back to my childhood days like no other.
