Hey guys!
We all know that the two amazing movies Oppenheimer and Barbie were released on the same day ( 23 July 2023 ). Both were without any doubt successful movies, making everyone go crazy.
I haven't watched any of them yet. But I want to hear your thoughts if you have watched them. what do you think about the movies? Which one is better? Or if you haven't watched any of them yet, are you going to try?
I personally think I should watch Oppenheimer first. Because it has a nice story, and I've read about the history and WW II. So I think it's gonna be interesting watching Oppenheimer first. Barbie on the other hand seems like a fun movie too.
What do you guys think?
Share your experiences with the movies!

Hey, @The Keeper Jr.

I have watched neither of the movies as well, so I don't have much to comment about them. As a fan of history and historical fiction, I will also definitely watch Oppenheimer first.

I have heard that Oppenheimer is related to the life of a scientist whose scientific explorations were ultimately put to use in WWII, which brought devastation. This storyline intrigues me!

Oppenheimer, please. I have been in the field of sciences, and I was intrigued while watching; the characters outperformed themselves."

If you are watching them on the same day, then I suggest you watch Barbie first before Oppenheimer. Barbie is a fun, comedy-filled movie, while Oppenheimer, from what I’ve heard- mind you, I've never watched it- has a lot of havoc and destruction since is based on the Father of the atomic bomb.
But if you are watching both films on different days, you can watch either one first.

Oppenheimer is definitely my go to. I think oppenheimer carried more depth within it, and the original barbie was better.

Barbie please :| I'm not a fan of sci-fi movies so I found it difficult to understand Oppenheimer

I feel like they were both such vastly different movies, that comparing them makes no sense, even though I loved the "Barbenheimer" era. Barbie is my personal favourite between the two though. I grew up playing with Barbies and definitely feel more connected to that story but Oppenheimer was an amazing historical movie, it was really well made and the acting was phenomenal.

Both "Oppenheimer" and "Barbie" are great movies, but if I have to choose, I would say my favorite is "Barbie." It's just so funny and visually stunning! The cast is amazing and the story is really entertaining.

Of course, Barbie. Movies with gender themes can sometimes be more interesting to watch than war films, in my opinion.

Barbie is a fun movie that has surprisingly plenty of heartwarming moments and good messages to offer. So I choose Barbie :D

Oppenheimer forever, the combo of Christopher Nolan and Cillian Murphy is the best thing in the world. I really love them, and having them together in a film is wonderful (yeah I am kind of a fangirl lol).
Plus, I study in the science field, so I am very interested in the themes treated in the film
