One of my top favorites is Samurai Champloo. Everything starts off normally enough but as the series progressed you're thrown multiple curve balls. Everyone had an objective but when one of the main characters objective is revealed, or at least their reasoning, you start to get a sense that they may have ties to someone that is a little too important (as was revealed during the eating competition episode.

After this would be Ghost in the Shell: SAC 1 & 2 with 2 being a favorite. I've seen every episode of Season 2 and found the Major's backstory to be an interesting one. Even more so when she encounters a childhood friend.

Not sure if this counts but R.O.D. This was the first anime I watched on the [AS] block way back when. Special agents and interesting icons from history make an appearance.

I really love Princess Mononoke; it opened my eyes to a bigger world outside my own. The film challenged expectations towards others with different opinions and to see them as human beings rather than enemies. I highly recommend it.

Mine is a tie between My Love Story for its easy going plot and Fruits Basket for its humor and characters.

I think it's because it was one of the first animes I watched but I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for Vampire Knight. I'm more grown up now, so Attack on Titan, Berserk and Black Clover are what I'm hooked on, but VK will always be the #1.

AVATAR ZE LAST AIRBENDER is the only anime I will ever watch. I´m not a huge anime fan, but I don´t hate it either. Avatar is the only ¨anime¨ I want to watch on a regular basis. Pokemon X and Y I used to watch, soooooo yerp. Any other Avatar fans out there?

I have far too many to list, between animes, mangas, and Japanese videogames. Most recently, in light of the now released remake, my partner got me into Final Fantasy VII.

All time favorite out of strictly animes though? I couldn't name just one... Death Note up until L's death, Lucky Star, Azumanga Daioh, Free, K-On, Tokyo Ghoul, Attack On Titan, No Game No Life, Madoka Magica... I really enjoy a variety and love each separately as opposed to deciding on just one absolute best!

My all-time favorite anime is probably Fairy Tail. I stopped watching it because it became unavailable for some reason, but I used to love it!! I also like Haikyu, Ouran High School Host Club, Hunter X Hunter, The Seven Deadly Sins, and Is It Wrong to try to Pick up Girls in a Dungeon. I will watch an anime every once in a while, grow out of it, and watch a new one in about 4-5 months.
