I read the Beren and Lúthien book and enjoyed it immensely. It's a strange book to read, because it isn't a story but a reconstruction of one, with Christopher Tolkien trying to piece together his father's many drafts of that tale. Definitely worth the read.

I know this is an unpopular opinion for a fantasy reader, but hey, LOTR just doesn't get me there.
Man got to sit and wonder 'why, why, why?'
