what do you think about the book and show Gone girl?

Post by nimra23 »

I have watched the show and it was very thrilling full of suspense but I am not sure if I should read the book because I don't like to compare when I have already watched the movie version of a book then there is no suspense in reading the book :| .
Has anyone read the book or the show and did you enjoy reading or watching the show?

I actually really like the book. I have not watched the show yet since I am worried it might spoil it for me.

I loved the book! I watched the movie before reading the book, and really liked the narration, details, and suspense in the book. Flynn is excellent at suspense. Watching the movie first didn't detract from the story for me!

I have watched the movie and Rosamund Pike's performance in the role of Amy is outstanding. The way she performs the role emits a frightening, but at the same time, delicate feel to it. I'm yet to read the book.

I absolutely love both. They really nailed the look for the genre and the acting, pacing, dialogue and directing done well. Don't have much problems with them
