very hard to rate a NO 1 film throughout. There are so many industries out there and we haven't watched it all.
Based on my watching experience, I would rate Kantara as my no 1 film surely that the actor has acted, directed, written the story as well. It was a cult hit in India not mainstream getting loads of money but critical acclaim..hell yeah..You will only understand when you watch that.
