Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. I believe I saw something online about how they are making the book into a movie, but I haven’t seen confirmation. It’s one of the best Christian fiction books I’ve ever read!

For me, I would like the books titled Hell University and My Husband Is A Mafia Boss. It's very popular in my country. These are such amazing books.

Definitely The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons. I love this book (and the whole trilogy) unconditionally and I think this is perfect movie material. It looks like there are so many great books that haven't been done into movies yet!

I would love to see the Eragon series by Christopher Paolini on the big screen (the 2006 film Eragon doesn't count) and have Peter Jackson do them.

The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón. I loved it. Thoroughly developed characters, symbolism, humor, romance, and everything

Dragons of Pern. I do not care how bad they would be, I would still buy the movie.

Artemis Fowl, I know this book has already gotten a movie but movie sucked to much, I wish they would remake the movie and make it better.

Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld.
I don't see enough steampunk Young Adult books being adapted into movies.
I love that series.

I love this book, too.

They are the genre.

The replies are over 10 years old here, even if no one sees this I want to post my opinion. I want the flawed series to be made into a movie or web series.

Yes, I think it is too- if not was from many many years ago.

I'd like to see Calling Home by Janna McMahon as a movie. It would definitely be a drama- though maybe even a Lifetime movie... but even though most would not admit to liking Lifetime movies... some of them are great! For example: Speak was phenominal.
It's 2021 now and I'm glad to say that this book is a movie! I'm sure you know that and you are happy about it❤

I wish BBC made periodic fiction movies based on Jayne Ann Krentz novels. Her novels have a right amalgam of romance, suspense, and fantasy. I would love to see her characters come to life.

For myself, it would be the novel the Pigman By Paul Zindel. I remember reading the book when I was in school, and remember being quite haunting. Plus this is not an overly complicated book that too much would have to be taken out. I also wish that the Disney company would have completed the Chronicles of Narnia franchise, and done all the books. As for anything else, I cannot say for certain. I had a lot of exposure to dry novels in school, particularly due to forced summer reading or the accelerated reader in Middle School. Usually we were forced to read some book that was written for purely academic purposes, with uninteresting characters.
