The last season of Game of Thrones definitely did not impress me. I found the writing to be rushed and lazy, but really hoping that the 6th book is going to still be good!

I have not read the books but have seen the series and it truly is my favorite.

I love both the books and the series. I cannot wait for the next book! I think a lot of people will understand this past season of the series more once the book is released, and we can experience GRRM's full vision. After all, the books are usually more in depth. :)

Very much agreed. And after a year and a half, for six rushed episodes...very disappointing.

What with season eight's ending, I can tell a lot of people have differing opinions on how things went down, most of it leaning towards the negative side. I was fine with it, though I'm not expecting a similar ending in the forthcoming books. I think George R.R. Martin is going to switch it up a bit, as so far the series and some of the books don't necessarily share the same plot.

I am so disappointed in the ending of Game of Thrones, but at the same time, at least it ended. George Martin will *never* finish this series and that is very frustrating. If you want you book series to turn into a big TV series, FINISH the books!! He spent too much time focusing on his new success as a TV series.

Good lord! Do we ever! The last season almost ruined my whole watching experience. I had such high hopes but the last season did not meet my expectations and that was the general sentiment. I wish it could be rewritten and result. I felt it was rushed as if the writers were done with the series and couldnt wait to end it. So dossapointed.

They really did Daenerys dirty in this season. That's for sure 😔

I think the last season sucked. The CGI was good, and some of the characters were okay, but everything else is just absolutely terrible—very terrible.
