"The Pursuit of Happyness" is a film that left an indelible mark. Will Smith's powerful performance and the portrayal of resilience in the face of adversity resonated deeply. It's a reminder that triumph can emerge from the most challenging circumstances.

Jeepers Creepers really scared me when I was a child. I'll always remember it.

"Jeepers Creepers, where'd ya get those peepers?"

American Psycho. The portrayal of Wall Street executives as sick narcissists who do nothing and lead empty lives without caring about others is genius. Ive watched this movie about 12 times. What a fantastic actor Christian Bale is.

Scent of a woman, in which Al Pacino played a blind man. The film was too good that I was moved to emotions.

"The Color Purple." It's a powerful story about the struggles and resilience of black women. Its emotional depth and brilliant acting make it unforgettable.

That'll be 'Le miserable'. That's the saddest and most non horror film that gave me the hibbie jibbies.

"Breakthrough" it was a really touching movie based on reality. I literally cried while watching it.

The Natural with Robert Redford. Sure it is an old one but the soundtrack is phenomenal and you have to watch it a few times to really pick up on all the nuances of the storyline.

My mother took me to see Poltergeist when I was 6 years old. Not because I wanted to see it but because she did and I was dragged along. If you haven't seen it, it was terrifying. Certainly for a 6 year old, but my memories of it still feel horrible and I've never been able to watch it again. I certainly have some PTSD and anger towards my mom about it but I recently looked it up, and it was released as PG at the time. What the hell! There sure were different standards in the 80s. Smoking, drinking, language. I think anything but nude scences and you could stay at a PG rating.

1917. I kept me on the edge of my seat. I already had my leave approved for my birthday, but my friends just cancelled on me at the last minute. So I was just getting back to work and called my team lead and she asked my to just shut up and go enjoy the day as the leave was already approved. So I went for the movie alone. I enjoyed it - it kept me on the edge on my seat and was thrilled with the camera work - something I wished horror films had. Sadly, the horror movies now are either just gory or just jump scares.
