If you are given a book to read about a story and the movie to watch, will you rather read the book or watch the movie.

The only reason I would prefer a movie over a book is if the book is really bad. For me, it's easier to sit through a bad movie than read a bad book. But usually I'll go with the book.

No. After reading a book, I try to watch if there's d movie to make it go all down well. Or after watching a movie, I try to as much to read d book and get it all down.

Depends, they're completely different mediums. Hunger Games I thought did a great job of adapting the books to the movies, Harry Potter less so, and Game of Thrones I think works much better as a show than as a book (don't kill me!).

Well they are some story that would work better as a movie than a book, it all depends on what kind of story it is.

I really enjoy reading the book and then comparing it to the movie interpretation. Or vice versa. A really surprising example of this was a movie 'The 13th Warrior'. I love the film and found it was based on the Book 'Eaters of the Dead' by Michael Crichton. Now the film is a storming adventure movie but the book is written from the perspective of historical fact morphed into creative non fiction and then Fiction with a retelling of what is the classic story of 'Beowulf'. Comparing both formats is fascinating AND all the telling's are in there own way faithful to each other.
