How else has read A Good Girl's Guide to Murder and watched the new TV show?

I'm enjoying how so many books are being turned into shows instead of movies because this allows for more of the book to be portrayed. However, I still felt like A Good Girl's Guide to Murder show was too short. 6 episodes wasn't very much, and they still left out a good amount. I felt like Pip had to jump to conclusions instead of portraying how she actually investigated. On the other hand, I thought the acting was really good. Emma Myers was great as Pip. I am excited to see if they make more seasons based off the next books within the series (and maybe even more shows of Holly Jackson's books).

I agree, 6 episodes felt too short for “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder,” and some key parts were rushed. However, the acting, especially Emma Myers as Pip, was great. I’m excited to see if they make more seasons!

I love the book, but when i watching the series, I think its to short and rushing to ending which i was expecting more like the book.

Honestly I was disappointed with Pippa's character in the series. (No shame to Emma she did a great job acting) It was the writing- it felt Pippa was stripped of everything that made Pippa- well Pippa. She relied so much on other people in the show (especially Ravi) which isn't a problem on its own- its just so out of character for book Pippa. Especially since her self reliability is what makes her survive in the third book- its an indispensable trait of hers and seeing it watered down in the series was disappointing.
