The movie was good but I'll choose the book over and over again.

I have never read the book, but I think the movie did a well job at creating it. The visuals were amazing.

i love alice in wonderland but i think you have to read both alice in wonderland and through the mirror to be able to find some more similitudes between them

but i think the book is much better than any of the existing movies

If I had to choose between the book and the movie I would choose the movie. It just reduces some f the boredom and includes a little of liveliness into the story.

They are both very different — I’d say reading the book is better:)

Definitely the movie. It's so pleasing to the eye, and Alice is a lot more likable in the film in my opinion.
A process cannot be understood by stopping it. Understanding must move with the flow of the process, must join it and flow with it.

The only person who can sympathize with and understand you, is you. So, be good to yourself.

I love all things Alice. Of course the book is my favorite because of all the different quirky characters and the original story line. I like the Disney version because it's whimsical & I really like how the Tim Burton movies brought more of the book characters to life.

I preferred the movie, for the expectation I have set regarding the actors, magical transitions and the setting beat it.

I'm a big fan of the 1951 Disney film, but I prefer the books over the Tim Burton film adaptation. The books have long segments that don't feel interesting to me: I think the Disney version provides a good balance between retaining many of the interesting scenes and moving the plot along.

If we look past the nitty gritty of why Lewis Carroll wrote the Alice in Wonderland Series, there’s a lot to be enjoyed there. I preferred the books to the movie adaptations. The movies did not include all of the satirical elements or the poems we got to read in the books. I understand why they left a lot out or added in their own new twists to adaptation.

I prefer to read the book before watching.
