Crime/Horror books?

Hello!

I really enjoy reading books that are about crimes or horror, be it fiction or non-fiction. Are there any books that you would absolutely recommend? I wouldn't mind if it was a bit.. gruesome or based on true crime. I really want to add some more interesting books to my shelf :)

Have you tried Dean Koontz he is good with the genre.. Try his book its called Shadowfires..a little bit classy
