If you're looking for detailed, I would recommend the All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkens. The first book is titled "A Discovery of Witches." It's historical fiction and it's absolutely astounding. Wonderful characters and plot building. The historical aspect of the story plays a huge role in it as well, and it's not simply skimming the surface. The author goes into detail about both history and science to create an amazing and very believable story that will have you questioning if creatures really do exist.

I think that The Hiding Place is probably under all of those categories. It’s the true story of Corrie ten Boom as she tries to hide Jews during the Holocaust. It is a beautiful story, sad, but so filled with love, hope and forgiveness.

For detailed I would recommend Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone.
