I can't choose which to read next

Should I read The Selection by Kiera Cass, or Uglies by Scott Westerfeld? I'm not really in the mood to read anything too intense or dramatic. But also not cheesy and predictable. Do either of these fit that? Other suggestions are welcome.

I have never read either of those, but if you like fairy tales then you might enjoy The Golden Princess and the Moon. It is a delightful retelling f sleeping beauty but with more added to the end and written differently enough to be interesting 😊

If you haven't already chosen, I have read The Selection before and enjoyed it. I think you should find it to your liking.
Mad Hatter: "Have I gone mad?"
Alice: "I'm afraid so. You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret. All the best people are.”

I read them both and liked them. The Selection is a light and easy read. The Uglies are a bit intense but good as well.

There are a lot of good reviews for The Selection by Kiera Cass. If you like more royalty/princess retellings I would recommend the Twisted Tail collection by Liz Braswell, Elizabeth Lim, Jen Calonita, and Farrah Rochon .
