Icon Unique/Special Concept/Format Books

Post by paulocenpt »

Hi, I am looking for rare/uncommon books.

But not (just) in the literary structure, i mean: not the plot, the syle, the universe, the characters, or even the simple concept of the books.

I'm searching an extradiegetic rare concept book.

For example i already have "Cent mille milliards de poèmes" by Raymond Queneau and "S." by J.J.Abrams.

I want a conceptual book, wich plays with the same concept of "book", like a Pop-Up book but without being for kids and/or without literaly pop-ups (not origamis isnide).

In the case of "Cent mille milliards de poèmes" by Raymond Queneau you have to own the book in real life, you cannot read it in e-book cause the "book" is thought for use it like an object and the concept himself is also intellectual/artistic cause you "make" your own poems; in "S." by J.J.Abramas you have the "fake" book and the "real" one, and inside you have some features, variety of objects that helps you on the reading and understanding like pictures, mails, etc... and of course, the concept of the real book (in the diegesis) on a real book (S by JJAbrams) fake it self (the Ship of thieves you are reading) and the children presence and their writes.

And, i also don't want just pictures ON the book but eventualy IN the book, not like a simple illusrtation picture wich is printed on the book, but eventualy objetc like pictures, but real ones like in "S.".

Do you know what i mean? Do you know what i am saying?

More examples:

-Some Geronimo Stilton books has odorant pages, in some pages you have a strange texture/material wich smells (something linked with the context of the narration).

-I had in my live one book that you should have a special tool to read some sentences in the book, cause you were a detective so... you know MyStErY.

-One kind of books everyone knows are the interchangeable characters, children books that are separated in 3 ore more pieces and you can choose the feet, the body, and the head.

-I seen one day a book wich the letters were printed in a special ink, phosphorescent ink, and you should use light to reveal the text and images.

[Sorry for my english, i'm not native speaker]
