I've read "War of the Worlds", "I, Robot", "Ender's Game", and "Fahrenheit 451". I highly enjoyed all of them, and I would really appreciate some suggestions for a good read.

Check out the Brandon Sanderson discussion. He is a great world builder and his stories are epic. The Mistborn Trilogy is my favorite of his along with Elantris and Warbreaker. The Way of Kings from the Stormlight series was awesome as well.
Ender's Game has a spinoff series about Bean you should look into, and while Fahrenheit 451 is Ray Bradburns most famous and a good read, he also wrote a lot of short stories about Mars, astronauts going there, and the life they find that I enjoyed much more.
Hi Ebbermeister! I always used to look at the Hugo Award and Nebula Award winners. They are usually a good bet. Old Classics that all SF readers should be familiar with because the titles will come up again and again are Dune by Frank Herbert and The Foundation Trilogy by Isaac Asimov, (with whom you are already acquainted). Neuromancer by William Gibson (Creator of the term cyberspace) may be dated but it was the first that launched a new subgenera of sci-fi. Humorous SF authors include Connie Willis and Lois McMaster Bujold for if you love to laugh. Hard SF would include Alaistair Reynolds, Kim Stanley Robinson, Arthur C. Clarke, John Wyndham. My favourite author at the moment is Neal Asher and I would start with Gridlocked and go from there. So many good books to recommend. I could go on and on! MY favourite topic!
