OMG! these 2 authors are my favourite too, their writing style and creative abilities are simply the best. I often get lost when reading their books especially Ann Elizabeth

I recommend Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. I think she is a phenomenal writer. Some of her books I would recommend are Americanah, Half of a Yellow Sun, and Dear IJeawele. I would also recommend Nicole Deese and Amanda Cox as great romance writers.

Joyce Carol Oates is my recommendation! If you’re looking for influential female authors who write really good books, she is a good place to start. I enjoy her short story collections in particular. There’s also Ursula Le Guin who has been really influential in the science fiction realm. I recommend Lathe of Heaven.
