Can anyone recommend me a great, hard boiled tough P.I. series? Something that’s fast pace and action?

Might be an obvious suggestion, but have you read the Cormoran Strike books by Robert Galbraith (J.K. Rowling)? I don't general like detective/private investigator books, but I loved these!
