Hello everyone,

I am 16 years old and as you would think, I need a book suggestion! I want books about personal development, personal behaviour, character development and improvement. I am not so sociable and I dont trust myself, like, even if I m in a group, I cant step forward and talk, I just listen and talk from time to time. The problem is that some of my mates think that I am rude and kinda hate me, I dont have friends because I live far away and there are not ofter buses. I dont have friends....

Actually, I need a book that would help me to improve myself trust, personality development and sloving such problem. Also, I care others opinions about me, heeeelp, :(

If you have questions, tell me.

Thank you.

Louise Hay has a number of good books on learning how to love and accept yourself. Another thing you can do is look for books (or look online) on how to be a good conversationalist. An etiquette book can give you the self-confidence to know how to act in any given social situation. I think it's great that you see a need and want to change and improve. The main thing is showing an interest in others. Ask them questions about themselves. Then, share a little about yourself and use what they have said as a spring board to ask another question. Listen and be interested in their answers. Ask questions that cannot be answered with a one-word answer. You'll get friends. ;)
