Books like Perks of Being a Wallflower

Does anyone one know a coming of age book that isn't angsty? I didn't quite like the Catcher in the Rye because the protagonist was so mad all the time, so is the case with most coming of age books. But that wasn't the case with The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I want to leave the book feeling a bit less confused about the world than when I started it, if yk what I mean.
