I was wondering if there are any really good sci-fi/fantasy book series out there. I read a decent amount of fantasy series, but haven’t seen many sci-fi ones (at least that are well known). I read Enders game (which I loved), but that’s about it. Suggestions?

A lot depends on what kind of novels you like. If you like modern space opera, I recommend Alastair Reynolds' Revelation Space series or Peter F. Hamilton's commonwealth series. If you like something more introspective, there's Ann Leckie's Imperial Radch's trilogy.

Containment Breach by Wm. A. Yandell was amazing.

The Wheel of Time series is sooo good. Great plot, awesome character development, and SUCH well thought out cultures and world.

Have you read Robert Sawyer's WWW trilogy (that is Wake, Watch, Wonder)

The Jane Hawk series by Dean Koontz is awesome.

The Scion Saga by Calix Leigh-Reign is a good fantasy book with drama and romance elements.

A good mixture of sci-fi and fantasy are Julian May's two series which go together - Saga of the Pliocene Exile Series and The Galactic Milieu Series. I loved Ender's Game too.

For a good fantasy book I would suggest A Touch of Power by Jay Boyce
