Which Russian Author?

I loved Crime and Punishment by Dostoyevsky and plan to read his other novels as well, but which other Russian author (and with of their books) would you recommend next? I want to get to them all, but obviously I have to pick one to start with 😉
I really enjoyed the character development in Crime and Punishment as well as the mental complexity of the story.
