Post by IphigeniaCalantha »

It is not possible to read all the books publishing in the world. So we must cut our reading list in our busy life. I want list of some best book that I may read for my improvement or some best book I should read.

I don't have a list of books but you should definitely read The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. It really changes your entire perspective on regret and opportunities and your own life.

When I was young, about 40 years ago... I didn't understand anything. There was no closed caption on tv. So I didn't understand anything. I have hearing aid, but still I can't understand. That's why my grammar is messed up. My mom's bookshelf has a lot of negative books... O.J. Simpson book "I did it" a book about murder. A book about slaves. A book about mystery... and Black people being abused, especially the Color Purple.

So I guess that why my life is like this... I wrote about it.... And I wish there is a book with fresh perspective. The only fresh perspective was Color Purple. And the way I view men... My mom''s book, Waiting to exhale.

I also don't have a list but you should definitely read Kalayla by Jeannie Nicholas. It is actually really good and makes you think. It touches of real world issues and doesn't sugarcoat anything.

The maestro monologue is also a good book with so many gems to pick up! I think it’s one book everyone should read.

I've read a lot of books and while I can say that all of them have affected my life in their own ways, the book with the greatest impact for me is still Between Shades of Grey by Ruta Sepetys; A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara is a close runner-up, even if I was unable to finish it due to the triggers (these trigger were what made me change the directory of how I dealt with my relationships, however "unhealthy" that path was).

Oh, I agree! This is one of my favorite books. It really makes you think and reflect after you're done. It has a profoundness that most others lack. Put that one on the list for sure.

Reading more and more about space to know how insignificant we are and how we should stop taking everything seriously is a great way to expand our horizons!

Rich Dad Poor Dad brought a really nice positive change in my life.
I've forgotten who the author was however someone who doesn't know even the basics of how to maintain themselves financially should read this book. easy to understand concepts explained in a simple way.

There are four books I always recommend to people. The choice of these books is because they impacted me positively. They are:

12 Rules for Live by Jordan Peterson
Atomic Habits by James Clear
Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl
The Laws of Human Nature by Robert Greene
