Anyone have recommendations for dystopian or apocalyptic books?

Have you read Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel?

I also really enjoyed Memory of Water by Emmi Itäranta.

Eve by Anna Carey - I believe this is a YA novel
Legend by Marie Lu - Also a YA novel
Renegades by Marissa Meyer
Divergent by Veronica Roth - I'm assuming that everyone has probably already read this one since it's been around for a while
Project Nemesis by Bredan Reichs - This is one of my favorite.
The Testing by Joelle Carbonneau
One Second After by William R Forstchen - This one is an apocalyptic book
An Easy Death by Charlaine Harris

Most of these are also series

I enjoyed I Am Legend by Richard Matheson (book is very different from the movie), World War Z by Max Brooks (again, very different from the movie), and The Road by Cormac McCarthy (this one's actually pretty similar to the movie, but I found it so much more impactful when reading).

You definitely need to give Parable of the Sower and Parable of the Talents by Octavia Butler a look.

I've just finished reading them this month and they are fantastic.

I think The Darkest Minds Series is good if you like dystopian series. The small details and descriptions in this book are expertly written. The concept and storyline is also great.

Nullform by Dem Mikhailov is a pretty dystopian book franchise.
