Thriller Recommendations

I am pretty open to the genres of books that I read, but lately I've been obsessed with thrillers. I'd love if anybody could give recommendations. I love psychological thrillers (Gone, Girl; Girl on the Train; etc.), historical thrillers (The Da Vinci Code; Steve Berry; Raymond Khoury; etc.), and crime thrillers (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series; anything about Gillian Flynn). Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Try My Girl by Jack Jordan. I actually just read and finished it last night. It's a little darker than what I was looking for, but it's definitely a thriller. I finished it in just a few hours because I couldn't put it down. The Good Girl is another great one, although it's been a while since I've read it.

I love the Lucas Davenport series written by John Sandford. Some series allow you to read the books out of chronological order, however I believe the Lucas Davenport series should be started from the beginning, with "Rules of Prey."

Pretty much anything from Gillian Flynn. If you loved Gone Girl, you should definitely check out her other novels, 'Sharp Objects' and 'The Dark Places'. Dark and twisted novels with really wild twists.

I recommend Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. Personally, I feel it's better than The Da Vinci Code. Though, filled with inaccuracies about the locations, concepts from science along with a few incorrect uses of foreign languages at places, the book really keeps you on the edge through its intense plots and interesting characters. The characters in the story are fantastic. Apart from the whole scientific/ thriller plot, the characters give you a new perspective towards concepts of mythology and religion. As a whole, the book is a masterpiece for those who are inclined towards extremely descriptive thriller/suspense novels.

I read a novel called He Kills Me, He Kills Me Not by an author called Lena Diaz. I frankly see this as one of the best crime/thriller novel I have ever read. I recommend it.

The Aliomenti Series. Could not stop reading and there are 7 books! None of which was a romance novel. Each book was exciting on its own, but very suspenseful as well as a thriller. I would recommend it to anyone as a good read!

Personally I prefer Tess Gerritsen. I love her Rizzoli and Isles series. They are fantastic crime/medical thrillers. A good one was The Surgeon.

The D.D. Warren series by Lisa Gardner is my favorite so far. I also love the Spilling CID series by Sophie Hannah. I haven't been able to find anything better when it comes to twists and turns, but I also like Karin Slaughter, Sharon Bolton, and Jane Casey. I think the standalones by Laura Lippman are great, but do not like her Tess Monaghan series. I enjoyed the Rizzoli and Isles series also, and recently discovered Allison Leotta, who has a great crime series.

I love a good mystery thriller with romantic elements as well. I've read Lisa Gardner, Karen Rose, Dean Koontz, Jennifer Crusie, Stephen King, and Allison Brennan and love stories with unexpected twists. Any ideas for me??
