I love reading Amish novels especially by Wanda Brunstetter. I am running out of books of hers to read though. What authors or books would you suggest?

I don't suggest amish book because I have amish friends and it's hard for me to read those because most of them are not realistic for the amish ways. My favorite christian author is Lynn Austin. Give her a try.

I really like Elizabeth Maddrey's Christian romances. They are not Amish - they're set around the Washington DC area. I like how she deals with sin and forgiveness. I think the first ebook (in one series, she has several series), Wisdom to Know, is perma-free.

I read The Angel's Trilogy when I was in high school by Lurlene McDaniel. It's about an Amish boy falling in love with a non-Amish girl and their relationship and differences they face. It's a really good read! I strongly recommend it!

I have read some Christian fiction that has been wonderful. There is a series of books by Jan Karon called the Mitford Novels. As soon as I finshed with one, I already had the next one, because I didn't want too much time in between. They were so good. Another Christian fiction author I like is Francine Rivers. Her novels, such as the Mark of the Lion Series, are so good. One of her books called Redeeming Love was excellent.

You can try Our Pastor Has Gone Mad Again by Elijah Oladimeji. The book highlights the issues in the church today.

Karen Kingsbury is a good Christian author. She has several books about the same family. It is lots of fun to follow the family through different problems and victories in their lives.
