Hello. Maya Angleou's book "I know why the caged bird sings," was a good read for me. :D

Trudi Cavanan is one of my favorite writers. She typically writes her stories as trilogies and keeps the reader invested throughout the entire series.

Janet Evonovich has been one of my favorites for years! Also, Gabriel Bernstein and Carrie Green are very good. Mel Robbins is another that I love.

My favorite woman author is Ruta Sepetys. Cannot decide which book of hers I love more Salt to the Sea or The Fountain of Silence. What I love the most about this author is that she writes books based on actual historical events.
I strongly recommend reading those!

Trudi Canavan is one of my favorite authors. She has a couple of trilogies and I have never been disappointed. She is able to build on the suspense and change the entire storyline on you.

I absolutely loved Laini Taylor's Dreamdark series. It starts with Blackbringer where it follows the faerie, Magpie, and her clan of crows hunting down bloodthirsty creatures in the forest of Dreamdark. I remember sitting reading the story of the strong female character fighting against forces much bigger than her and succeeding. Laini Taylor does a great job portraying a strong female character, and I love the memories I made with my dad when he read the book to me in his pirate voice whenever the crows and Magpie spoke.
Books and stories provide wonderful knowledge and lessons, but I must agree with my father that experience garners wisdom.
