I request all the members of the forum to suggest me the book which gave a deeper understanding of happiness and self content.
Thank you.

For me it was John Grisham's Painted house, the book was calm and funny at the same time and I think I liked as the story was told from a child's view of things.

Hector and the Search for Happiness by Francoise Lelord. It was also made into a movie starring Simon Pegg not too long ago.

I am really happy that you asked this question as it is one of myour favourite topics! I have read books on this topic since I was in primary school. My favourite is "Staying sane" by Dr Raj Persaud. It is so holistic and helpful.

For me the two books are: A Little Book of Happiness and A Little Book of Serenity by Ruskin Bond. Both are a collection of quotes which let the readers immerse in moments of joy, peace and comfort. Both are a relaxing read.
