Looking for a Suggestion

Hope this is the right place to ask this...

I was looking for someone to help point me to a good book I might find in audiobook format. I was hoping for a fantasy (like myth or magic, LotR, Dresden files-ish) or maybe sci-fi. It would be great if it had some lesbian romance in it but not a super big focus on the romance angle. Preferably told in first person. Any length.

-Audiobook
-Any length
-Fantasy(pref)/Sci-fi
-First person
-Lesbian Protagonist

It just what I'm in the mood for and I'm struggling on how to search for a good title. Thanks for any help.

This is a tall order! It might not quite fit what you're looking for, but have you read Carmilla by Sheridan Le Fanu?

It's a vampire story written in 1872, and though it isn't explicitly lesbian, it's been adopted by the queer community for its heavy lesbian subtext. Maybe not even subtext... Maybe just text. It's a quick read, so be prepared! I was surprised by its length when I first read it and was left really wanting more from it.

I think it's on hoopla, which is a free audiobook service that most libraries offer access to! Good luck finding the perfect fit :D There isn't enough lesbian fiction out there.

Yea I’m defiantly struggling to find what I’m in the mood for. I’m not usually this specific. 95% of the time I’m just looking for myth, magic, or a space sci-fi and it doesn’t need anything super special, just different from the books I tend to repeat.

I’ll give that one a look. Thank you.
