Hello, Everyone. I'm new to OBC and thought I'd say hello.
I'm a reader and an author. I read in many genres, but I particularly like books and stories with action, suspense, and realism. I'm not keen on Romantic Fiction, though I'm not against a bit of romance in a story if it fits with the overall plot.
I don't have a particular favourite writer, but Dean Koontz has to be up there near the top of my list.
I live in Australia, and I tend to write stories with an Aussie flavour. That doesn't mean they will only appeal to Aussies, though. A good story knows no national boundaries, I believe.

I'm keen to connect with others on this site and can't wait to do so. For now, I'll just browse until I get a feel for the place.
