Newbie intro

Hi everyone here at Online book club back in 2020 I had decided I was gonna pick back up reading and I created a profile but then I ended up finding out I was pregnant with my first child and I sort of forgot I made an account but 3 years later I'm back and feel I have more time to dedicate to my reading hobby. I made a new goodreads account last year and managed to finish reading at least 9 books in 2023. I'm sincerely hoping to meet my goal of 13 books or more this year but as its already nearly March and I'm just now finishing the last book I started reading in 2023 I figured it was time to come back to onlinebook club and hopefully joining the review team will continue to motivate me to read my books and maybe get a litte money back so I can continue to inspire my 3 year old to read and love books as much as his mommy. Hoping with making a little money here n there for reading a book that I will be able to further enrich my sons life with worldly literature and experiences.

My name is Rainy, I'm 33 years of age, I'm a capricorn, My sons name is Gatsby because he was born in 2020 and I'm obsessed with the 20s.
Other than Hunter S Thompson my favorite author is F Scott Fitzgerald i find they have a very similar style in their writing which I absolutely adore and The Great Gatsby is my favourite book of all time which is why I passed the name along to my son who is absolutely The Greatest <3

I'm a witch with a never ending well of desire to learn and read more and just know as many things as I can fit into my brain so with that being said I tend to read a lot of nonfiction, autobiographies, biographies, and memoirs or anything remotely journalism.

My job consists of caring for children with autism helping them learn to express themselves in a healthy manner helping nonverbal kids to learn sign language. I'm also an inventory specialist meaning I travel with a crew of people to stores all over the tristate area and well I count and keep record of their inventory.

Karaoke and reading books after I meditate I find is the only reasonably priced form of therapy that a person could find and I'd suggest it to anyone.
