This story drove me in by the first sentence. The whole medieval and mystical vibe that the book gives leads the reader to read the whole book in no time.
I love how the author inserted not only magic or love but also human elements that will help you empathize with the characters.
I was immediately intrigued by the figure of the white fox, it seemed so mystical and yet so real and humane that it was just something which gave me a lot of motivation to read and see what would happen in the story.
Let's not forget the two sisters, their descriptions, their relationship is amazing and the whole vibe around them is intriguing.
The language that the author used to write the story is excellent; for me, a person whose first language is not English, going through this biik was actually easy and enjoyable. I was able to understand, to imagine and almost feel the characters; their emotions, I was even able to picture the smallest details about them: like their dresses, the way they walked, talked and even breathe sometimes.
Thanks to the clear language I was also able to clearly picture the beautiful world that the story was developing in.
The overall plot is amazing, the author's imagination is clearly visible and it's beautiful, I found the choice of switching present scenes with past scenes throughout the story interesting and also fascinating, I usually find this kind of plot development hard to comprehend, but this time it was different and I found myself enjoying it.
To conclude my review I would say that this book is fantastic, it can amaze the reader by presenting them a new world, a new conception of spirituality, it will give comfort and two pages after it could be able to surprise or even scare. It's a rollercoaster of emotions, of feelings. And I would surely recommend it to my friends. I rate this book 3 out of 4
