Surely this book is my source of inspiration. I'm glad it has come at a time I need it most. I'm truly convinced that success is not the wealth we see around but rather physical and mental successes are also essential to human beings. How To Be Successful by M. Curtis McCoy is a self-help inspiration book that defines success differently. Self-help books have always motivated me and McCoy's book has got me back to my feet today.

We are introduced to an overview of the author's struggles and how he overcame them. Curtis is diagnosed with brain cancer and diabetes at a young age and struggled through until he overcame the circumstance, despite the doctors' advice that he wasn't going to make it in life. The many challenges that we face always have an end. This is a true inspiration to us, the readers since many people are going through different challenges and would need this source of inspiration. The book proceeds where we meet many interviews with different leaders and entrepreneurs about success and personal growth. This book has real stories of different successful people and I'm glad they don't consider themselves successful because of their positions and the wealth they have.

What I liked most in How To Be Successful was the urge for resilience and the need for happiness in one's life. Although the author had been diagnosed with brain cancer and diabetes at a young age and then suffered several seizures and memory loss, he never gave up. He sees his challenge as being minor and decides to concentrate on the major, which are other people. This encouraged me and got me personally. Ex Us Navy confesses that he gets fulfilled when he sees the joy on other people's faces.

I also liked Mr. M Curtis's explanation of issues concerning their success e.g how do you push your worst days? What keeps you awake at night? These questions made me glued to the book. I needed to learn more about different people's experiences.

I also liked the use of different quotes and biblical illustrations which directly relates to the speeches. I would say I read this book with all smiles on my face.

I think I never disliked anything in the book as I enjoyed the book till the end. I would recommend this book to anyone who gets motivated by reading other people's inspirational stories.

I would gladly rateHow To Be Successful 4 out of 4 stars. The book was professionally edited and well written. I would say this book is recommended to people of all religions and does not contain any form of profanity or erotic scenes.
