Soul Seeker is a thrilling book about demons, angels, and innocent human bystanders that get caught in the crossfire. A demon named Crighton is on the hunt for human souls. He is heartless, soulless, and the most dangerous demon there is. But never in his existence did he see this coming. So many secrets and so many stories untold. When will he know the truth, and when will this all make sense, Will it ever?

Soul Seeker had me hooked from page one. Right from the very beginning, Kaylin McFarren had me wondering about everything in this book, but in the best way possible. I had so many questions throughout and could not wait to read the rest and have the answers. One of the chapters in the book is named "Surprises never cease" and that is the perfect way to describe this book. There are surprises in every chapter, it just never stops. Soul Seeker is filled with suspense that is also never-ending.

There is nothing I did not like about this book. It was fun to read and had a lot of twists and turns. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, McFarren threw a curveball that I did not expect. Soul Seeker has everything from, action to romance. I could not put this book down, but at the same time, I did not want this story to end. At the beginning of the book the story is written from one character's point of view, and in the middle of the book that changes, and the focus shifts to another character. That gave the story a very interesting turn and brings a brand-new perspective.

I rate Soul Seeker 3 out of 4 stars. The book is amazing. But it would benefit from another round of editing. It has a lot of exciting elements, and there is never a dull moment just to try and fill the pages. It was all well thought through and perfectly done.

I would recommend this book to fantasy lovers. I would not recommend it to readers under 18 because of the profanity and light erotic material. I am satisfied with the ending as all questions are answered, and everything makes sense in the end. Soul Seeker is a book that will be enjoyed best next to a fireplace or somewhere no one will interrupt you. I could not put this book down once I got started, and I am sure other readers won’t be able to either.
