We are Voulhire: The Flesh of the Mind by Matthew Tysz is the sixth novel of the intriguing “We are Voulhire” series. The events of this novel primarily take place in Caromentis, a realm of magic and dangers, and in the Cosmos (the normal world). This novel takes us on an exciting new adventure with many plot twists and uncertain outcomes. This book will not let you down!

The Emperor of Lullabies has its target set on the kingdom of Voulhire, will Galen be able to save his home? Galen soon finds himself in Caromentis, a world of dangers a magical world would possess, in search for Meldorath’s help to save his beloved kingdom, and in the middle of a war brewing up between two powerful mages. Will he be able to save his home and stop the war before many more innocent lives are lost?

What I liked most about We are Voulhire: The Flesh of the Mind is throughout this series Matthew Tysz has masterfully told his story from many different perspectives. The author has done a wonderful job weaving all the characters, no matter how insignificant they are, into the storyline and has also written wonderfully the magic world of Caromentis and the citizens of that dangerous world. Matthew Tysz ensures that the reader understands the plot, every page of this novel is soaked with action and suspense. Matthew Tysz has used the art of words to pain vivid images of the people, the towns, the cities and the different worlds into our minds. This novel truly captures your imagination!

This novel is an amazing read, there was nothing I disliked about this story. I think this book has been edited professionally as I found few errors, therefore, I give We are Voulhire: The Flesh of the Mind a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. This novel takes readers on a journey through the worlds of the Cosmos and Caromentis, it is a truly amazing experience!

We are Voulhire: The Flesh of the Mind does include vulgar and profane language; I suggest that children and young teens steer clear from this novel as I would not recommend this novel to them. I would recommend this novel to anyone who loves to read science fiction and dark fantasy or perhaps someone who is looking to explore a new genre of books, this book will definitely live up to your expectations!
