This book is for you if you are looking for a way to escape reality by immersing into a supernatural plot for few hours .
This book by Robert E Flynn starts as Albama being an ordinary nurse , who experiences a supernatural touch , which appears to her as a fast moving shadow . After this incident her life changes . The voice of supernatural leads her to a great task when she adopts two children Gabriel a special child and josh his companion and dearest brother .

The other storyline is of Maral and Abdul both gifted with the power with which they can see within someone’s soul and could tear them apart if it is not controlled , they both are also provided with a task by the voice within them.
Anakim a kind, logical and smart character finds out the truth about himself through his mother. You”ll have to read the book to find out how beautifully the character has been described by the author Robert E Flynn. At the end he finally gets wind of all the answers he has been looking for all his life.

Do all of the characters unite to complete the task or not and who is that supernatural voice described by the author Robert E Flynn ! As he says evil will always live in the heart of men , i think the touch of supernatural is to make this world a better place to live .
What I loved most about the book was the author’s ability to intermingle all the characters who did not seem to be related from the start . Other thing I liked most about the book is simplicity of words.I appreciate how the author framed these anamnestic characters.

No doubt I enjoyed reading the book , each chapter has it’s own different character but till the end new characters are getting added plus the content of the book is quite predictable and I did not find anything groundbreaking.

Totally intended for young adults as well as children. It does not include any topics such as suicide, abuse or erotic sex scenes . The story contains well developed characters each with supernatural touch and surprising events. I rate “ The touch” 3 out of 4 stars .
